Welcome to Barons Court Fundraising Committee. We are an active committee which raises money for the school to benefit all of our pupils. All parents, teachers, friends and family are welcome to attend meetings and contribute to the many successful events we hold. We also believe the local community is important, and try to contribute to it through what we do together. Through innovative ideas, careful planning and hard work we are able to deliver a rich mix of activities including the Summer Fayre, cake sales, discos, special gifts, quiz nights and much more. The substantial amounts of money raised have a valuable impact on the educational provision for all of the children. During the last year our fundraising projects have continued to enhance the learning resources enjoyed by all of the children - we have purchased new bird lookouts, history role play areas and litter pickers as part of the requests from staff and pupils. All of these developments are closely linked to priorities within the School Development Plan. For any further information about our role or if you wish to join please contact the school office and come along to our weekly Monday sessions.
At present we are focusing on:
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the previous academic year as we made adjustments to our fundraising events and ensured that we continued to celebrate, as a community, through our letterbox fundraising ideas. We have continued to raise funds for the school, using innovative ideas and a lot of home working by parents so that the children could continue to enjoy all of their learning experiences at our school which are subsidised by the fundraising events. We know many of you enjoyed the Mother's Day Afternoon Tea boxes and the Father's Day Treat box. Our grandparents also commented on how lovely it was to receive their sweet box as a special delivery.
