The Barons Court School Council has opened its doors once again and the children within our school community are representing the voice of all the children.
Our School Council representatives are:
The children have written a letter explaining why they think they would be a good School Council representative.
In our School Council meetings we have been busy taking ideas from the children in all phases to find out their ideas to enhance our learning. The playground development project is still being designed but there are many other plans in the pipework!
The children are currently discussing:
The Outside Area
• Children have discussed outside resources and have requested another Chess table as more children would like to play. This has been agreed at our Trustee meeting and the equipment is hoping to be in school by half term.
• The 'buddy bench' is going to stay, and member of the school council are currently putting a timetable together so that they can be role models and help others during playtime and lunchtimes.
• The children have asked if they can have a score board in the mugga so that someone can keep a score as it happens. This is because they often loose track and have to re-start games.
These are all exciting projects and we look forward to seeing how they progress over the Spring Term.
