Year 1 have been busy learning about different types of families.

We found a worm in Belfairs Woods!
We used our magnifying glasses to look at the worm closely.
Rosemary enjoyed making playdough caterpillars as part of our Talk, Toast and Tales.
Chive enjoyed their trip to Belfairs Woods.
They loved digging and looking out for minibeasts!

This week, we have been learning about human and physical geography in our local area.
"Barons Court is human geography because somebody built it!"
We also looked at fires and how sticks are an important part of building a fire.
When you remove heat from a fire by adding water, the fire goes out!
