Our School Day


The start of the school day

Our school day begins at 8.50am and pupils can arrive from 8.30am. Pupils stay on the playground until 8.45am supervised by their family. The school bell is rung promptly at 8.45am by a member of the senior leadership team. Once the bell has rung pupils can enter the school building.

Breakfast Club

Children who attend breakfast club arrive at 7.45am and will be greeted by the breakfast club staff at the school gate. Children are provided with a range of different activities and at 8.30am depart to their learning space. The cost of attending breakfast club is £2.25 per session and should be booked and purchased  using Wisepay before the day of attending.


The end of the school day

The school day ends at 3.10pm for Phase 2 and 3 children and at 3.15pm for Phase 4. Each class is escorted by the home group teacher to their designated exit point. Phase 2 in the Amphitheatre, Phase 3 in the Games Area and Phase 4 outside the school building. All home group teachers remain with their pupils until their parent/carer is identified to collect them. If a Phase 4 pupil is walking home they will be encouraged to go home immediately and not to play in the playground at the end of the day. All parents are encouraged to inform the school office as soon as possible if they are unable to collect their child at the end of the school day so that alternative arrangements can be made and communicated to staff and the pupil.
