They took part in 10 different activities, from ladder races, target throws, sprints, jumps, bean bag races, a sport stack station to a parachute station! The idea behind the mini games is to celebrate and instil the values of the Olympic Games, which are Friendship, Excellence, Respect, Courage, Determination, Inspiration and Equality. Our children excelled at them all!

Borough Sports - Summer 2017
On Tuesday our Key Stage 2 athletes had amazing success at the Borough Sports Finals. As a school individual children in their events achieved gold, silver and bronze medals.
We were so proud of all of the children as the borough sports are a real team event and with all of the children doing so well and gaining points for each of their events it meant that we achieved a 3rd place podium finish for the Field events. This is an amazing achievement, well done team a great effort with excellent results!
Hi-5 Netball - Summer 2017
This week our Year 5 and 6 team represented our school at the local Hi-5 Netball Tournament. They couldn't wait to return to school with the wonderful news that they had come third across the Southend schools and will be representing Barons Court at the Essex Finals in a few weeks' time. We are very proud of the team!
