House Captains this year have been chosen from Years 2 and 5. They represent their House in Celebration Assemblies and other events and throughout the year are working on a range of inter-house activities and competitions.
This term we held a Netball Shootout Challenge between the four houses. Each house had representatives from each year group and had 2 minutes to score as many points as they could.
The results were as follows:
Well done to everyone who took part.
Our final competition this year is going to be an "Escape Room" style competition with codes and riddles to solve.
In our second term we held a spelling competition, with every child in Years 1 - 6 taking part and earning points for their house. Despite Hawthorn being the best performing House in Phases 1 and 4 and Oak in Phase 3, Rowan were overall winners across the school. Congratulations Rowan.
Our first Inter-House competition took the form of a 5-a-side football competition and saw our House Captains lead a team from their house in every year from Reception to Year 6. Well done to Hawthorn, who just pipped the other houses to take victory.
